At the bottom of Diamond Head in Hawaii, there are always a collection of slops, as the path down to the surf is sharp volcanic rock. So you leave them at the base, paddle out, and collect them when you come out to walk back up...and you always get yours back. How cool was it to check the same thing happening at a local beach in the Eastern Cape - always thought I'd be taking a chance leaving them while we headed out onto the soft sand - 7 days in a row they've been there when we got back. Cool people up here - unless my feet stink...

Lucky they never knew it was yours!! They would have pinched them! Imagine a nice aged wooden pic frame with your slops box mounted in it - the glass all steamed up from.... ummmm guess not the smell - would have to be the moisture from the damp sand..... and the caption "Bing Slops"
