Noc Noc

Noc was a Beluga whale captured in Canada, staying in an enclosure in San Diego Bay for many years. And learned to speak. A diver got out of the pool  after hearing instructions underwater, only to discover he'd heard Noc, who'd learned to mimic voices in conversation. According to Mark Kane, studying speech for his Phd, Noc definitely had an Irish accent, specifically from the Dublin area. Was Noc ordering a round of Guinness and chips...and how would he have paid? Or maybe he was just telling the diver "Oi - ya got a head on ya like a well chewed toffee!!" While not having Nocs' sphincter control, personal attempts at creating underwater air vocalisations have included 'Bulawayo' and a Herb Alpert solo.
