In a little over a week, we're grabbing a car and heading for the surf of Hash and Anchor Point, Immesouane and Killers - Morocco. And already its being linked to the revolutions of Tunisia, Libya and Egypt ,"Watch out! - you're mad to be going" Tunisia is 200km from Italy, Libya is 300km from Greece - refugees are pouring onto Lempedusa, the kite surfing beaches of Benghazi are a flash point - and Morocco is more than 1000km away. I'm just a surfer heading down the coast, and if I meet folk along the way that need a hand, no worries. Excited to be going - food, waves, people, camels, Atlas snow and Sahara sand. ..and hope that influential people apply reasoned thinking for the good of their country...
