Consequences

The old Durban Road from Jozi to Volksrus is a showcase for how bad driving can get. 3 meter following distances at 140km/h, overtaking on blind rises and no consideration of consequences. Each time I drive it, there'll be a rolled taxi or van, strewn roof foam across the gravel, suitcases broken in the road, and ambulances picking up whats left. And nothing changes, as a few kays later, they're back up to suicidal speeds. Cops are out in force, road safety campaigns scream out from signs - but its not helping.
