Skip the excessive visa costs, airport taxes and surly customs, and travel in your own backyard. With the thousands of tourists hitting Cape Town in the next few months, I'm trying to see our beautiful city through their eyes - and we're up there with the best. Took a walk down Albert Road in Woodstock yesterday - Biscuit Mill was jammed with people, incredible food and creative concepts (little bummed at okes taking close up photos of pottery and design to rip off back home...), then a hop past recycled framing shops and old wooden furniture, on into 'Bread' for cocktails and an interactive art and sculpture tour - all in 100 meters! If you've got it Cape Town - Flaunt it!!
