Another stoked grom

Gotta luv it when a plan comes together. Muizenberg generally is at its best on a pushing tide with a gentle offshore. This doesn't happen in summer, but as autumn comes, so do the waves.  Based on weather predictions, we booked the Sunday for Dawids' Klub VIP surf lesson with Justin and myself http://bingsurf.co.za/ - and it turned out perfectly. With a classic Takayama Longboard, wetsuit and good attitude, they paddled out...amongst at least 100 other surfers. Typically, I hung back on the beach with Michelle, chatting about her shark fears - but no sirens on the day so no worries. After a stretch and intro, Justin swam out, helping Dawid get into position to catch the right wave.  3 tries later and he was up, a natural footer riding 20 meters on a slow peeling left - stoked in the water and cheering family on the beach! Nice one! They'll be back...
