Best things in life

Glencairn to Kalk Bay, swim, walk, run, soggy shoes, salt chafe  - onto the next tidal pool. Undiscovered - naah, but maybe forgotten for a while as the traffic snarls along the road above. The tidal pools have been redone and cleaned. At high tide you grip onto the limestoned wall daring the whitewater to prise you off - which it does every time. So you swim back against the surge and do it again until you can't anymore. No  points gained,  no queues for equipment, or puppet dancing to looped muzak - just the soda surge of sharing ocean energy.

  1. Apparently some %^}# is wanting to build between the Main Road and Woolley's Pool. (a) It will ruin the vista from the road and (b) who will want to bathe at Woolley's with someone's house/accommodation leering over them?
    What a tjop!
