Fynbos

So heres the deal... When its onshore or no surf, head to the mountains above the City for a swim or run. If you're up there enough, you can see the subtle weekly changes - birdlife, fynbos, insects, sounds and smells. In a moment of rash inspiration, I've decided to try and identify what I'm seeing - seperate the buchu from the weed...
I'll try take photos as things flower through the seasons, take a shot at identifying it and over the year, I'll see what fynbos we can identify.
I think this is a Watsonia - its not a daisy... maybe you can drill it down further??
Heres to a great year in the mountains above Cape Town - it's our backyard!
